Several months ago I had a really fun opportunity to work as a script consultant on the hit Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere. I enjoyed the book written by Celeste Ng so I figured this project would be interesting and it was! The themes of adoption, separation loss, identity, race, class, motherhood and family are complex, multi-layered and and these are all covered in Little Fires. I always appreciate when creative professionals do their “homework” to make storylines more authentic and believable.
